I have been seriously neglecting my blog. Its been six weeks since my last post, and I am a little disappointed in myself. Despite this, a lot has happened in the past few months, and all for the good! Between landing a marketing job at an amazing commercial real estate firm, my best friend’s gender reveal party for her first baby, taking a night class for Adobe InDesign, participating in a “Core Values” contest at my new company, seeing my childhood idol Shania in concert, and watching my cousin chase her dreams by performing as a part of Kelly Clarkson’s tour, these months have been a whirlwind of work and personal growth, for which I am especially proud!

Although I haven’t posted in a while, I have been brainstorming where to take my blog next. Being a foodie, the “sip” and “savor” portion will always remain, however I want to place more emphasis on the “see” category. I have always loved traveling, experiencing new things and being crafty, and think it would be great for me to express these interests a little more than I have in the past. Also – I am going to try to keep a majority of my posts at 500 words or less, to keep content fresh, simple, and to make reading at SipSavorSeeSD little easier for everyone. Blogging is very rewarding, but also takes a lot of time and dedication. Limiting myself to shorter posts and more photos will take a lot of the pressure off, and bring the fun back to blogging for me (and more fun for you to look through)!

I hope you all have been having a wonderful summer. I don’t know about you, but I am soooo ready for Fall!! Fall in San Diego is a lot different than on the East Coast, but I still can’t wait for sweaters, leaves and fall décor!

Thanks for reading, and here are some photos of what I’ve been up to lately! (Note- these images are only visible on my blog, and not via email- so if you don’t see them in your email, head to!)
